Dr. Kajal Chaudhry is a Registered Psychologist who has extensive experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Chaudhry earned her Doctorate in Psychology in the United States and relocated to Vancouver, BC, in 2017. She has held positions in community mental health clinics and private practice, working alongside professionals in the medical and mental health field to provide integrated care to clients.

Dr. Chaudhry utilizes a wide range of intervention techniques to inform and guide treatment planning. In particular, Dr. Chaudhry has extensive knowledge and background in working with attachment, complex trauma, grief and bereavement, posttraumatic stress disorder, interpersonal challenges, trauma bonds, family crisis, and multicultural issues. Dr. Chaudhry deeply enjoys providing psychotherapy to teens, adults and groups, as she has had extensive training in case formulation and treatment planning. Dr. Chaudhry utilizes an attachment-based approach to help clients move through their traumatic experiences. Dr. Chaudhry strives to foster an accepting and non-judgmental environment for her clients to create a strong therapeutic frame for growth and change.

Dr. Chaudhry is committed to understanding her clients’ worldviews and improving their quality of life with empathy and care.
