A note to clients: The goal of therapy is to disentangle your experiences and develop an understanding of how these experiences are impacting your life, relationships, and functioning. This often involves teaching you to identify your thoughts, feelings, negative self-talk, and unhelpful behavior patterns and then deciding what changes you want to make. As therapy progresses, the hope is that you can act with greater intention and feel more empowered and fulfilled in your life!
